Beads of Courage Bead Bags
The program is designed to support and strengthen children and families coping with serious illness. Through the program children tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along the treatment path.
CCQ makes and donates hundreds of bead bags each year to the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC.
Our project folks have been busily cutting the fabric for kits to make the bags. You can pick up a kit at a CCQ monthly meeting or by contacting Margaret Johnston.

Pillowcases
CCQ also makes and donates hundreds of pillowcases to the children of the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital in Charleston.
Joanne Shropshire has kits available for this project at the monthly meetings.
