One Block Wonder Class with Sandy Jacobs

Sandy will be teaching her One Block Wonder class for us! She will be teaching it in two parts. The first part will be held in the afternoon, after the April 17th meeting and the second half will be after the May 15th meeting. If you always wanted to learn how to make a one block wonder quilt, here’s your opportunity. You pick one wonderful piece of print fabric and Sandy will teach you how to make it have that amazing look. What’s really amazing is that two people could use the same fabric and end up with 2 different quilts. It should be a fun class. There are still a few spaces available for the class. Call Ginny Braverman at (540)-270-7995 to register and plan to bring the course fee to the meeting.

Supply List:

6 panels (or 7 if you want the panel to be in the center of your quilt)

60 degree triangle ruler (mine is Creative Grids)

24” ruler, at least 4” wide

Forked pins. Optional, but very helpful once you start putting the top together

Sewing machine that you know how to operate and the manual

Basic sewing supplies

Design wall / flannel-backed tablecloth

Border fabric and backing (I like to get these after the top is done. It helps with selection.)
